Coaching Character

Research suggests that most people attribute their own personal character development through the influence and modeling of significant people in their lives. The intensity and time that is involved in sport provides an excellent way of making friends and building relationships.

Sport can make for fertile ground for the encouragement, reinforcement and development of good character within the lives of young people. But research also demonstrates it can also be fertile ground for the transmission of very negative concepts of behavior.
