Steve & Michelle Connor
Steve and Michelle Connor serve together as part of Sports Outreach International, where Steve is President, and Michelle oversees much of the behind-the-scenes administration that keeps the ministry moving forward. Michelle manages logistics, cooks for teams, coordinates travel, and handles a wide range of organizational details that help outreach trips, trainings, and ministry events run smoothly with hospitality at the center.
Steve brings a lifetime of experience in athletics and ministry. A former NAIA two-time All-American with brief seasons on the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams, he has served as a player, coach, and chaplain at every level. He is an ordained pastor with ministry experience in England, Scotland, Indiana, and Missouri, and he is a frequent speaker with audiences that have included NASCAR’s Joe Gibbs Racing and members of the British Royal Family. Steve has authored ten books and previously served as the North American Facilitator for the International Sports Coalition.
Steve and Michelle have been married for over thirty years and have three children and seven grandchildren. Steve holds an honorary doctorate from Azusa Pacific University, has traveled to more than 100 countries, and has ridden a motorcycle on every continent except Antarctica. At home he enjoys playing jazz on his 100-year-old upright bass, even though he insists he lacks the talent to be considered accomplished.
Together, Steve and Michelle are committed to using sports, hospitality, and personal connection to share the hope of Jesus around the world.
